"Painting....Passport to Fun" is the theme for the 2009 SDP Conference in Peoria, Il June 16-20, 2009

Share the Magic of Painting......was held in Tampa May 26-31

Several members of Wildflowers attended the conference. Patsy Deal spent most of her time working in the SDP Booth. The election was held at the Annual meeting. After much campaigning during the days preceding the meeting, Nancy Genetti was elected as the SDP Vice-President, President-Elect. She will serve three years on the SDP Board in a leadership capacity.

The Theme of the Conference

Besides classes one of the first activities at Conference is the Annual Meeting. See the members who passed their certifications, see who received the awards, vote for new officers and be part of the running of your organization.

The Chapters Conference is a place to learn and network with other chapter members from around the world.

The New Chapter Marketplace was a big success. Any chapter could rent a table and sell items. They ranged from Shirts, fans, Cookbook, ornaments to clip board stands for your patterns.

Centerpieces for all the tables were painted by Chapters or Individual members. They were wonderful. One of these could be the Wildflower's table next year!
